SenX Technology Seminar - March 24, 2003

The FirstLook Automotive Diagnostic sensor was presented to the Traverse Bay Area Career Development Center on March 03, 2003. This was done to familiarize the students with this new technology. On March 24, 2003, a follow-up technical seminar was held.

Here are some of the comments of the attendees and instructors:

"The Single most innovative automotive diagnostic tool in the last 10 years quick easy to use."

"A must-have in every mechanics toolbox. How could a mechanic not have this at his disposal."

"Definitely a time saver, thus a money maker."

"Effectively used by first year automotive students."

"Takes engine diagnostics back to the basics"

"With this tool you are seeing actual unprocessed engine data."

Students and teachers alike were impressed by how quick and easy basic automotive engine tests could be run. Compression and valve tests on both intake and exhaust could be accomplished in 5 minutes or less. The basic condition of an engine running at idle and under load can be accomplished in the same time. Noted was the ability of the FirstLook sensor to see slipped and/or worn cam problems. All these tests were performed using a basic automotive lab scope.
