- Connect one lead to an ignition reference for #1 cylinder and connect the other lead to the FirstLook™ sensor in the tailpipe.

How it works
ACE software analyzes the exhaust pulse train to identify the lower than normal pulses coming from the exhaust stroke of a misfiring cylinder.

you need
ACE Misfire does not require any complicated equipment: an A/D converter to digitize the exhaust train, an inductive pick-up, and a FirstLook Diagnostic Sensor. All of these are included in the ACE Detective Kit .
